Job summary

Genesis HealthCare is seeking an RN Supervisor to support the Director of Nursing in delivering efficient and high-quality nursing care. You will lead clinical operations, ensure compliance with policies, and drive patient/family and employee satisfaction.

You will recruit, orient, mentor staff and participate in promotions while maintaining adequate staffing for safe, continuous care. BSN preferred and current RN licensure required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with active RN licensure.
• Minimum three years of full-time or equivalent clinical experience.
• Minimum two years of clinical experience in long-term care with one year in a management/supervisory capacity; BSN preferred.
• Maintain current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Director of Nursing and support delivery of nursing care.
• Lead, guide and direct clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shift.
• Facilitate care delivery model implementation and processes.
• Collaborate to maintain adequate nursing staff for safe 24/7 care and manage overtime/agency use.

Responsibilities

Advance your nursing career and join our team as an RN Supervisor. You will support the Director of Nursing with the delivery of efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes, and patient/family and employee satisfaction.

• Report to the Director of Nursing.
• Lead, guide and direct the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shift including ensuring compliance with the company policies and procedures, practice standards and regulations.
• Facilitate the implementation of the care delivery model and processes.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff to provide safe, 24/7 nursing care with an emphasis on limiting use of overtime and agency personnel.
• Participate in staff recruitment, new hire orientation, mentor staff, and make recommendations for employee promotions, transfers and terminations.

Qualifications

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college or university with a current registered nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.

A minimum of three years full-time or equivalent clinical experience is required and a minimum of two years of clinical experience in long-term care nursing with one year in a management/administrative or supervisory capacity is preferred. BSN preferred.

Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification and RN license.

Posted Salary Range

USD $99,840.00 - USD $104,000.00 /Yr.
