Parkwood Behavioral Health System, a UHS facility, is seeking an RN House Supervisor for the night shift. The role supervises nursing care on a designated unit and coordinates staff to maintain high-quality patient outcomes.

Graduate from an accredited program with an RN license is required, BSN preferred. One year of supervisory experience and CPR/BLS certification are expected, with opportunities for growth within the UHS network.

Registered Nurse House Supervisor

• Status: Part-time (Nights)
• Hours/Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.)
  • Friday & Saturday

In addition to the duties of a Registered Nurse, the RN House Supervisor supervises the delivery of nursing care provided by professional and support nursing staff on a designated unit.

Qualifications

Education

Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; BSN preferred.

Experience

One (1) year of supervisory experience preferred.

Licensure

Licensure and registration by the Mississippi Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse, or multi-state license as approved by NCSBN.

CPR

Current CPR or BLS certification.

Knowledge

Must possess knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing processes, therapeutic relationships and processes, age specific growth and development, limit setting, crisis and behavior management and CPR training.
