Atrium Health's Levine Children’s Pediatric Infectious Disease Clinic is seeking a nurse leader to support the manager in delivering high-quality pediatric nursing care within the Infectious Disease and Immunology services at Levine Children’s Hospital.

The role includes leading interview and supervision of nursing staff, coordinating communication across shifts, and ensuring compliance with federal and state laws and policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the appropriate state.
• Minimum two years of nursing experience preferred.
• Previous leadership experience preferred.
• BSN required.
• RN candidates without BSN must enroll in a BSN program within 1 year of Hire/Transfer and complete program within 3 years of enrollment in the program.

Responsibilities

• Supports the manager utilizing systematic approaches to enhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice, nursing service administration and delivery of care in the department.
• Assists with interview, selection, and supervision of nursing personnel in the department.
• Assists with coordination of communication at regular intervals throughout shifts via staff meetings/huddles to exchange information/ promote dialogue with teammates.
• Collaborates with manager to ensure understanding and compliance with federal and state laws, to include healthcare services and practice, while complying with all required regulations and policies.
• Rounds on patients, teammates, and physicians at prescribed frequencies to gain insight into patient care, employee, and physician satisfaction and appropriateness of patient care and/or department operations.

Where You Will Work

Levine Children’s Pediatric Infectious Disease Clinic, Levine Children’s Hospital offers a dedicated Pediatric Infectious Disease and Immunology clinic for children with complex, persistent, or rare infections and immune system conditions, led by board‑certified specialists available 24/7. The clinic diagnoses and manages a wide range of pediatric infectious disease and immunology issues.

What You Will Do

• Supports the manager utilizing systematic approaches to enhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice, nursing service administration and delivery of care in the department

What We're Looking For
