Job summary

Advocate Health’s Levine Children’s Pediatric Infectious Disease Clinic seeks a dedicated nurse leader to support nursing practice, coordinate staff, and ensure regulatory compliance in a dynamic pediatric setting.

You will work Monday–Friday, with travel to satellite locations in the Charlotte area, and contribute to a high‑quality care team focused on vulnerable pediatric patients and complex infections.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• RN licensure in appropriate state.
• BSN required.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Supports the manager utilizing systematic approaches to enhance nursing practice and patient care.
• Assists with interview, selection, and supervision of nursing personnel in the department.
• Coordinates communication during shifts through staff meetings/huddles to exchange information and promote dialogue.
• Collaborates with the manager to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and healthcare regulations.
• R rounds on patients, teammates, and physicians to evaluate patient care and department operations.
