Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center is seeking an RN with leadership experience to oversee infusion clinic operations, plan and evaluate patient care, and manage staff and administrative duties in Louisiana.

The role requires an RN license (CPR), with oncology and supervisor experience preferred and OCN within 2 years. Collaborative care, program development and quality improvement are key aspects of the position.

Formación

• RN license required; CPR required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred in nursing or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years general nursing experience; oncology and supervisor experience preferred.
• OCN certification required within 2 years of attaining position.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, implement and evaluate patient care in the infusion clinic.
• Provide personnel management and administrative duties.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and patient education activities.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality oncology nursing services.

Job Description

SCOPE: Responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care in the infusion clinic, personnel management, program development and administrative duties; Using demonstrated leadership & management skills, will work to collaboratively assure the delivery of quality care

Qualifications

Graduate of accredited school of nursing (RN); Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.

Minimum of 5 years general nursing experience; oncology and supervisor experience preferred.

RN, Louisiana State Board of Nursing license and CPR required; OCN required within 2 years of attaining position.

Medication and IV administration; patient assessments; information related to care of oncology patients.
