Job summary

Advocate Health's Charlotte OB/GYN division is seeking a Clinical Supervisor (RN) to lead daily ambulatory clinic operations and support both staff and patients. The role emphasizes clinical leadership, adherence to quality standards, and promoting a collaborative work environment.

Candidates should have RN licensure in the state, a BSN, and BLS certification, with OB/GYN leadership experience preferred. The position is based at our Charlotte locations in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• RN license issued by the state of practice.
• BSN required; candidates without BSN must enroll within 1 year of hire and complete within 3 years.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily on-site leadership and support to clinical staff.
• Step in to assist with patient care, clinic flow, or operational needs during shifts.
• Foster an open-door environment that encourages communication, collaboration, and trust.
• Ensure high-quality clinical practice standards with strong clinical judgment; Joint Commission knowledge preferred.
• Maintain consistency with ambulatory clinic policies and Advocate Health standards.

We are seeking ahighly skilled, Clinical Supervisorwho brings exceptional clinical expertise, strong leadership, and a genuine commitment to supporting both staff and patients. This role is for someone who thrives in a fast-paced ambulatory clinic environment and believes in leading by example.

We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• 2 years of prior leadership and OB/GYN experience preferred.
• BSN required. RN candidates for external hire or internal promotion without BSN must be enrolled in a BSN program within 1 year of Hire/Transfer date and must complete program within 3 years of enrollment in the program.

What You’ll Do

• Monday - Friday 8a-5p
• Provide daily on-site leadership and support to clinical staff.
• Step in to assist with patient care, clinic flow, or operational needs whenever required.
• Foster an open-door environment that encourages communication, collaboration, and trust.
• Ensure high-quality clinical practice standards, leveraging strong clinical judgement and experience. Experience with Joint Commission standards strongly preferred.
