This position provides leadership to nursing staff and supports safe, consistent patient care across treatment areas. As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will perform the following duties:
- Patient Care Leadership: Guide clinical care processes to maintain safe, therapeutic services across units
- Staff Supervision: Oversee nursing performance, complete evaluations, and support skill development
- Safety Enforcement: Maintain environmental safety, monitor infection control standards, and follow emergency health and safety procedures
- Team Collaboration: Work with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment goals and ensure communications between shifts
- Administrative Management: Handle staffing needs, leave requests, reports, and documentation requirements
- Policy Compliance: Apply regulations and address concerns related to complaints, grievances, and discipline
Work Schedule and Additional Information
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a 30-minute lunch. You will work a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays during a 2-week period. You will have every other weekend off and 2 additional days off.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements
- Three years as a Registered Nurse (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Four years of professional nursing experience providing care and treatment services consistent with those needed for individuals with a mental or physical injury or illness and/or a developmental disability.
Special Requirements
- You must possess active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
- All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
Other Requirements
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
