Job summary

WeCare Centers is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead the nursing team at Avalon Springs Center in Mercer, PA. The role supports patient care excellence and clinical operations.

You will supervise nursing staff, ensure documentation accuracy, participate in quality improvement, and collaborate with the DON, HR, and facility leadership.

Shift is Mon-Fri 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM; We offer benefits including health, dental, vision, 401k, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in PA.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing staff with leadership, support and guidance.
• Maintain nursing staff performance through interventions in collaboration with DON/HR/Facility Administrator; ensure FBH policies are followed.
• Ensure safe, healthy environment and proper techniques by nursing staff.
• Ensure complete and accurate documentation by nursing staff.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, vendors and interdisciplinary teams to provide high quality care.
• Participate in compliance and quality improvement committees, audits and processes.
• Complete nursing staff evaluations, coaching, education, and supervision.
• Monitor direct care and conduct audits to ensure high-quality care.
• Assume on-call duties with other Nursing Leadership Staff.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the DON.

Job Duties

• Serve as a professional role model by providing leadership, support and guidance.
• Maintaining nursing staff job performance through multiple intervention practices in close collaboration with Director of Nursing (DON), Human Resources or Facility Administrator, as needed. Ensure FBH policies are being followed.
• Ensuring nursing staff are providing a safe, healthy environment and utilizing proper techniques and approaches.
• Ensuring proper documentation is being completed by nursing staff.
• Effectively communicating with Residents, families, vendors and interdisciplinary team to provide a high quality of care.
• Participating in compliance and quality improvement committees, audits and processes.
• Completing nursing staff evaluations, coaching, education, and supervision.
• Ensures continued delivery of high quality nursing care by monitoring direct care and conducting audits.
• Assume on-call duties with other Nursing Leadership Staff.
• Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the State of PA
• Previous experience as a RN in acute care / long term care setting is preferred
