Parkwood Behavioral Health System in Desoto County, MS, is seeking an RN Supervisor to manage the delivery of nursing care on a designated unit during 12-hour night shifts (7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.). The role includes supervising professional and support nursing staff and ensuring safe, patient-centered care.
Qualified candidates have an accredited nursing degree and Mississippi RN licensure (or multi-state), CPR/BLS, with at least one year of supervisory experience. BSN preferred.
Parkwood Behavioral Health System provides behavioral health and chemical dependency services to the Mid-South region and has been in business since 1987. We are located in Desoto County, in the northwest corner of Mississippi and approximately 7 miles south of Memphis. Parkwood offers a full continuum of care for adults, adolescents and children, including a 148-bed inpatient acute and residential care facility, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs.

In addition to the duties of a Registered Nurse, the RN House Supervisor supervises the delivery of nursing care provided by professional and support nursing staff on a designated unit.
Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; BSN preferred.
Experience: One (1) year of supervisory experience preferred.
Licensure: Licensure and registration by the Mississippi Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse, or multi-state license as approved by NCSBN.
CPR: Current CPR or BLS certification.
Knowledge: Must possess knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing processes, therapeutic relationships and processes, age-specific growth and development, limit setting, crisis and behavior management and CPR training.
