Registered Nurse Supervisor (Part Time, 12‑Hour Shifts, 7am‑7pm)

The Ridge Behavioral Health System is a 110‑bed hospital located in Lexington, KY. We provide psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment for children, adolescents, and adults, including partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient programs, individual counseling, and medication management.

Job Duties

• Accurately and timely complete new patient admissions, assessment, orders, treatment plans, property inventory, nutritional screening, progress notes, patient education, and safe medication administration.
• Provide appropriate crisis intervention by anticipating and responding quickly to escalating behaviors, using de‑escalation techniques to diffuse situations, and correctly prioritizing safety concerns.
• Use counseling skills to de‑escalate aggression, listen actively, use appropriate tone/volume, provide frequent positive reinforcement, maintain boundaries, and promote a positive peer culture.
