Job summary

AltaMed Health Services seeks a Nurse Supervisor to oversee nursing care and supervise clinical support staff in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The role requires coordinating with multiple disciplines and regulatory bodies to ensure compliant, high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate has RN licensure, at least 2 years in geriatric nursing, and 1 year of supervisory experience. Bilingual candidates are preferred; a valid BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a current valid RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in geriatric nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year supervision/management experience in a healthcare setting.
• Bilingual English/Spanish, Tagalog, or Mandarin preferred.
• Valid BLS certification per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.

Job Overview

This position is responsible for all aspects of nursing care and the supervision of clinical support and nursing staff. The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day staff activities. Will interact, coordinate, and facilitate activities with all disciplines, departments, and appropriate regulatory agencies.

Minimum Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a current valid license by the State Board of Nursing.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in geriatric nursing is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the supervision and management of staff in a healthcare environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish, Tagalog, or Mandarin is preferred.
• A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.

Compensation

Pay for this job starts at $114,400.00 annually
