Mercyhealth is seeking a registered nurse for night shift (24 hours per week) in Wisconsin. The role involves applying the nursing process, administering medications, documenting care, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to support patient-focused plans.
Responsibilities include performing assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation, while contributing to quality improvement and ongoing education. On-call requirements and weekend shifts may apply.
Provides compassionate nursing care to patients in a clinical setting while supporting the Mercyhealth nursing mission and values. May include variable shifts, weekends, holidays, and/or on-call hours. May also float to different units based on staffing needs and clinical competency. Performs other related duties as assigned. Schedule: 24 hours per week Shift: Nights
Graduate of an accredited nursing program. ADN required upon hire, BSN preferred. May require specific years of applicable experience to qualify (per department guidelines)
Licensed as an RN in state of practice. Approved CPR/BLS certification required within 90 days. Other certification(s) per unit requirements. For example : ACLS, PALS, PEARS, and NRP
Passing the Driver’s License Check and or Credit Check (for those positions requiring). Passing the WI Caregiver Background Check and or IL Health Care Workers Background Check. Must be able to follow written or oral instructions.
