What You’ll Do

As a participant in the Nursing Stipend Program, you’ll prepare for a rewarding nursing career while building relationships with clinical teams throughout Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare. Upon graduation and licensure, you’ll transition into a full-time Registered Nurse position within your selected specialty area.

You will:

Develop the clinical knowledge and skills necessary to provide safe, high-quality patient care.

Collaborate with experienced nurses, providers, and interdisciplinary team members.

Build a strong foundation in patient assessment, care planning, communication, and critical thinking.

Physical Requirements

Education, Certifications & Licensure

Current enrollment in an accredited nursing program required.

Successful completion of nursing program requirements required.

Registered Nurse licensure required prior to employment as a Registered Nurse.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire into nursing role.

Additional specialty certifications may be required based on assigned department.
