Baystate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Springfield 2 Med Surg Tele team at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. This role supports diverse medical diagnoses on a 32-bed unit with professional growth opportunities within the region’s only academic medical center.

The position is PT Nights 7 PM–7:30 AM with every other weekend and rotating holidays. Requires MA RN license and an AND; BSN preferred. Comprehensive benefits and a sign-on bonus are offered.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

Springfield 2 serves a wide variety of patients aged 22 to 100 + with common diagnoses that may include: acute or chronic conditions, gastrointestinal disorders, infections processes, behavioral health, neurological & circulatory impairment, kidney disease, and diabetes. The unit has 32 beds, 16 semi-private rooms, and they have completed several nurse driven change projects including activity/mobility tool, acuity-based assignments, capacity management workflow, and foley utilization. The Manager is dedicated to professional growth and the nursing model of care, and the unit has a close partnership with Physician Medical Director.

PT Nights 7 PM - 730 AM Every other weekend and rotating holidays

QUALIFICATIONS

• Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience required.
• Education: AND required; BSN preferred.

No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.
