American Training, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Specialized Housing Program in Massachusetts. You will coordinate healthcare supports, monitor required medical services, and liaise with providers to ensure residents receive care aligned with best practices.

The role requires a Massachusetts RN license in good standing and a nursing degree, with a preference for at least two years of related experience. CORI checks are required and MAP/DDS knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN license in good standing.
• Nursing degree required; 2+ years experience preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Knowledge of MAP regulations and DDS regulations is a plus.
• Satisfactory CORI check.

Responsabilités

• Provides assessment and direct nursing health care to Residents as prescribed by health care professionals.
• Communicates medical changes/needs/concerns to leadership and colleagues through various media.
• Coordinates medical supports including emergency treatment as required.
• Assumes direct nursing care for all program Residents.
• Train Colleagues and assure competency in medical issues of Residents.
• Provide training and ensure competency in use of medical devices in the program.

American Training is seeking a Registered Nurse to work with our Specialized Housing Program. In this role, you will coordinate the provision of health care supports through training, monitoring required medical services, interfacing with various health care providers and coordinating essential follow up. Specific Duties

• Provides assessment and direct nursing health care to the Residents as prescribed by Health Care Professionals.
• Communicates medical changes/needs/concerns of the Residents to Residential and Clinical Vice President/Directors, Senior Nurse Manager and Colleagues through variety of media.
• Coordinates medical supports including emergency treatment as required for Residents.
• Assumes direct nursing care for all program Residents.
• Effectively train Colleagues and assures competency (where applicable) of Colleagues in the special needs/medical issues of the Residents.
• Provides technical training and ensures competency of Colleagues in the use of medical devises in the program i.e., VNS, Thick-It.

Qualifications

• Nursing Degree with a Massachusetts RN License in good standing, preferably with a minimum of 2 year’s experience.
• One year related experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Knowledge of MAP regulations and Department of Developmental Services regulations a plus.
• Satisfactory CORI.
