Job summary

Vetted Solutions is seeking a dedicated NICU RN to provide professional nursing care in a Level 2E Special Care Nursery in Illinois. You will follow hospital policies, assess patient conditions, and participate in planning and evaluating care on a collaborative team.

Requirements include an Illinois RN license, BLS, NRP within six months, and an ADN or higher. BSN must be attained within five years if starting with an ADN; experience in NICU Level 3 is preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required
• NRP certification within six months of hire
• ADN or higher nursing degree; BSN required within five years if only ADN

Role Overview:

Provide professional nursing care in a Level 2E Special Care Nursery, following state and hospital policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess patient conditions, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, document observations, delegate tasks, and collaborate with team members to meet unit goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

Associate Degree or higher in Nursing (Bachelor’s required within five years if only an Associate Degree), current Illinois RN licensure, BLS certification, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within six months. Preferably, 2 years NICU Level 3 RN experience.
