Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Michigan is seeking a licensed RN to provide a full range of bedside nursing services in our facilities. The role uses independent judgment within the Seven Dimensions of Patient Care, with a patient-centered approach to outcomes and safety.

This part-time position requires BLS certification, Michigan RN licensure, and education from an approved RN program. Experience in Labor & Delivery is preferred, and the shift is 7pm–7:30am, Monday through Friday, plus every third

Education

Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Uses independent professional judgment, analytical skills, and the nursing process to provide a full range of delegated, interdependent, and independent nursing services to patients. Within the framework of the Seven Dimensions of Patient Care and Benner's Domains of Nursing Practice, demonstrates clinical competence; compassion and customer service orientation; focus on process and outcomes; and cost-consciousness when assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care provided to patients.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained within 2 months (60 days) of hire date or transfer date required.
• Certified BLS provider specializing in Basic Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained with 3 months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Or, Certified Instructor.
• Labor & Delivery experience preferred.
• Education: Requires a graduate of an approved professional (RN) nursing program.
