Schedule Details: Holidays - One Major Summer Holiday, One Major Winter Holiday; Weekends - Every Fourth Weekend; Sunday through Saturday

Responsibilities:
  1. Plan, deliver, and manage direct patient care using the nursing process, adhering to nursing standards.
  2. Perform patient assessments and develop care plans, including discharge planning.
  3. Supervise and evaluate nursing care within the assigned setting.
  4. Delegate tasks appropriately based on competency.
  5. Document patient care according to standards.
  6. Develop and implement education plans for patients and families.
  7. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality and continuity of care.
  8. Administer medications, perform treatments, and operate equipment per policy.
  9. Assist physicians with treatments, procedures, and tests.
  10. Participate in Nursing Governance and professional development.
  11. Engage in performance improvement initiatives and quality assurance.
Position Qualifications:

License/Certification/Education:

  • Current Massachusetts licensure and registration.
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • BLS certification is required; ACLS or other unit-specific certifications may be required.

Experience/Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of nursing discipline.
  • Proficiency in areas of responsibility; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
Physical Demands and Environment:

Work is medium intensity, indoors in a standard patient care environment.
