Sunterra Springs - Independence MO is seeking amazing nurses to join our team on the NOC or rotating shifts. This PT/OT/Nursing rehab role handles 19 residents with IVs, wounds, assessments, discharges, admissions, and medications, supported by 2 CNAs. A $1500 sign-on bonus is offered for the NOC shift.

NOC SHIFT 6P-6A, Day shift 6a-6p Rotating weekends

This is a PT/OT/Nursing rehab. You will have 19 patients. You will have IVs, wounds, assessments, discharges, admissions and medications. 2 CNAs. Nursing management is available for help. It is fast paced.

This position is responsible for the delivery of care to a group of residents in a nursing unit, including assessing resident needs, development of individual care plans, administering nursing care, and supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) activities and other personnel in the delivery of nursing care.

Required Skills:

• A current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an (RN) Registered Nurse in Missouri
• Demonstrate clinical assessment skills at the level necessary to meet the job requirements.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
• Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work with an interdisciplinary care team.
• Basic understanding of computer technology, including email use.

• Proven decision-making and analytical skills.
• Able to relate positively, favorably, and cooperatively with others, including employees, residents, family members, and personnel of outside agencies and organizations.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in long-term care preferred but not required.
• A Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in practicing state.
• Current CPR certification.
