Job summary

BlazerJobs, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a school-based assignment to support one student with on-site 1:1 care.

The contract runs full-time for 37.5 hours/week from early November 2026 through late May 2027, focusing on central line care, G-tube management, and rapid response to allergy emergencies.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license.
• School or pediatric nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with 1:1 student care highly desirable.
• Proficiency in central line care and G-tube management.
• Calm under pressure and able to respond during medical emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 care for a student on site each school day.
• Perform ongoing assessments and monitor vital signs per medical plan.
• Manage central line maintenance and G-tube feedings as scheduled or needed.
• Administer immediate care during allergies or emergencies.
• Keep meticulous records of interventions and health changes.
• Communicate proactively with teachers, staff and student families to support wellbeing.

Make a meaningful impact supporting a students educational journey as a dedicated Registered Nurse for a school-based assignment. This contract opportunity offers a chance to provide direct, compassionate care to one student in a vibrant high school environment. The position is full-time, running 37.5 hours per week from early November 2026 through late May 2027.

Essential skills are central line care, G-tube feeding management, and prompt administration of EpiPens for severe allergies. Your expertise as an RN will ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of your assigned student, giving themand their familythe reassurance they need during the academic year.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• School or pediatric nursing experience preferred
• Previous experience with 1:1 student care highly desirable
• Proficiency in managing central lines and G-tubes
• Able to stay calm and respond effectively during medical emergencies, especially allergy-related incidents
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with school staff and families
• A passion for making a difference in student lives
