Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work one on one with a student in the school setting in Charleston, SC. The role focuses on delivering patient-specific nursing care in a school environment, including management of complex medical needs.

Qualifications

• RN license required for practice.
• Health certificate required by facility or state regulation.

• One year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for student(s) with medical needs (trach, vent, G-tube, seizures, diabetic care, etc.).
• May ride the bus to and from school with patient.

Hourly Pay: $30 to $35 per hour patient specific

• Provide nursing care for student(s) with medical needs (Trach, vent, G-tube Feedings, seizure monitoring with rescue medications, personal care, Diabetic care, etc.),

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• Drug Screen Required.
• One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
