Job summary

Advocate Health Cabarrus is seeking a registered nurse to join the 12-bed Prep/Recovery unit in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The role focuses on delivering safe, coordinated cardiovascular patient care and coordinating nursing processes across shifts in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited nursing program, active RN license in North Carolina, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience, with preferred critical care exposure.

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Critical care experience preferred but not required.
• 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Where You Will Work: Join our Prep/Recovery Team! Our fast-paced 12-bed Prep/Recovery unit cares for a diverse cardiovascular population including cardiac cath, structural heart, vascular, and electrophysiology patients. We're looking for energetic, adaptable nurses who thrive in a dynamic environment and can confidently manage multiple priorities. Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a commitment to excellent patient care are essential. Expectations We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Critical care experience preferred but not required
• Ability to use fine hand manipulation skills for IV insertion and other procedures/functions.
• 1 year of clinical nursing experience
