Job summary

Hillcrest Healthcare System is seeking an Inpatient Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) for a day shift, full-time role in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care under the supervision of the Coordinator, delivering high-quality wound care in an inpatient setting.

The ideal candidate will hold an Oklahoma RN license, have completed an approved RN program, and obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of a state approved Registered Nurse Program.
• Valid State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Coordinator, the Outpatient Wound Care RN performs the primary function of Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients.
• The Outpatient Wound Care RN is a licensed caregiver who practices in a competent manner, upholds the voice of the patient, system policies and procedures while supporting service excellence goals in the clinical environment that employs a shared governance model.
• The RN serves as a partner in care anticipating and providing for the patient care needs of patients, families and significant others.
