The Wound Care Nurse Specialist will provide comprehensive wound management and ostomy nursing care to patients in collaboration with other members of the health care delivery team, including providers, staff nurses and wound care center staff. Serves as clinical expert, educator and liaison between the patient and the medical, nursing and interdisciplinary staff with the goal of wound healing and improved patient outcomes.

The Fauquier Health system offers patient care for a variety of specialty services including Orthopedics and Spine, a Cardiac Catheterization Lab, and robotic-assisted surgery. The hospital has a dedicated Family Birthing Center and Intermediate Care Nursery.
