Job summary

Hillcrest HealthCare System is seeking an inpatient wound care RN in Tulsa, OK for day shift, full-time. The role focuses on evaluating wounds, coordinating care, and supporting patient recovery in a modern clinical setting.

As an RN, you will assess patient needs, plan and implement care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes. A Oklahoma RN license and BLS are required, with 14-day clock for certification after hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of a state approved Registered Nurse program.
• Valid Oklahoma RN license.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer and before direct patient care.
• One year of wound care experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients as an outpatient Wound Care RN.
• Work under the supervision of the Coordinator and partner with care teams to meet patient needs.

Get to Know Your Team:

• Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women's Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.
• Under the supervision of the Coordinator, the Outpatient Wound Care RN performs the primary function of Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients.
• The Outpatient Wound Care RN is a licensed caregiver who practices in a competent manner, upholds the voice of the patient, system policies and procedures while supporting service excellence goals in the clinical environment that employs a shared governance model.
• The RN serves as a partner in care anticipating and providing for the patient care needs of patients, families and significant others.

Job Requirements:

• Completion of a state approved Registered Nurse Program
• Valid State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care

Preferred Job Requirements:

• One (1) year of wound care experience
