Job summary

San Dimas Community Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct wound care in the outpatient clinic and evaluate inpatient wounds. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to adjust treatment plans and respond to changing patient conditions.

The role requires an active RN license, BCLS certification, and preference for prior acute care and wound care experience. WOC certification is preferred and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Must have current RN license issued by the state.
• BCLS (AHA) required at hire and maintained.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Wound care knowledge/experience preferred (1 year).
• Wound care certification required within first year of hire.
• WOC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse provides direct care in the outpatient wound care clinic as well as evaluating inpatient wounds. Communicate with physicians / charge nurse / co - workers, as appropriate regarding changes in the patient's treatment, clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies. Has the ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

Qualifications

• Must have current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the state.
• BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Previous Wound care knowledge and or experience preferred (1 Year).
• Wound Care Certification within first year of hire.
• Wound, Ostomy, Continence (WOC) Certification preferred

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $43.25 to $61.16. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
