Job summary

Hillcrest Hospital Pryor is seeking a day shift/PRN Registered Nurse to join the Advanced Wound Center in Pryor, OK. The RN will assess and manage wound care patients, providing direct care, intake, and discharge coordination.

Experience in wound care is preferred; licensed RNs in Oklahoma or with a multi‑state license can apply. A BLS certification is required within 14 days of hire. This role may also involve case management duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• ADN or BSN.
• Oklahoma or applicable Multi‑state RN license.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.
• Minimum of 2 years medical/surgical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients at the Advanced Wound Center.
• Provide primary patient care and manage intake and discharge for wound care patients.
• May serve as Case Manager for a group of wound care patients as assigned.

• Hillcrest Hospital Pryor is a 48‑bed acute care hospital that provides a range of health care services to the community, including ENT, emergency services, general surgery, gastroenterology, cardiology, orthopedics, podiatry, outpatient infusions, radiology, women's services, wound care, 3D mammo and more.

• Under the supervision of the Director, the Wound Care RN performs the primary function of Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients at the Advanced Wound Center (AWC).
• The RN will primarily provide patient care and handles intake and discharge processes for the Wound Care Center patients as scheduled.
• This position may also serve as Case Manager to a group of assigned Wound Care patients, as assigned and depending on the Wound Care Center setup.

Job Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program
• ADN or BSN
• Oklahoma or applicable Multi‑state RN license (upon hire)
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
• Minimum of 2 years medical/surgical experience

Preferred Job Requirements

• Wound Care Certification or experience
• ACLS
• PALS
