Job summary

Spring View Hospital in Lebanon, KY is hiring an RN for night shifts on our Women’s Services unit. You’ll apply the nursing process, administer medications, and collaborate with care teams to ensure safe, compassionate patient care on a 6-bed unit.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS and ACLS within 12 months, and Neonatal Resuscitation, Basic Fetal Monitoring, and STABLE within 6 months. Experienced nurses encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS required within 12 months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• Neonatal Resuscitation, Basic Fetal Monitoring and STABLE required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates professional development and uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Administers medications, collects specimens, provides clinical treatments, and documents care.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and coordinates care with the care team across transfers and discharges.
• Provides patient/family education and advocates for patient wellbeing.

You'll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.

How you'll contribute

The RN demonstrates professional development and clinical competency; utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment. Documents patient care given. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family. Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

What we're looking for

• RN license requiredBasic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS is required within 12 months of hire.
