Position Summary:

The Women’s Services unit is a 32-bed unit providing care in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum/GYN, and Nursery. Responsibilities include:

• Performing care interventions such as medication administration, specimen collection, and treatments
• Documenting patient care
• Monitoring and communicating patient conditions
• Assisting with activities of daily living
• Collaborating across disciplines for comprehensive care
• Providing patient and family education
• Advocating for patient well-being

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

• Associate’s degree in nursing required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire

License:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensed to work in Kentucky
