HSHS St. Vincent’s Hospital in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our med/surg float pool on a weekend program. The role covers a variety of departments and conditions, with weekend shifts 7a-7p Fri-Sun. Ideal candidates are patient-focused, mission-driven caregivers.

Education: graduate from accredited nursing program; RN licensure in state; WI license within 30 days; BLS required; BSN preferred. Experience: 2 years as an RN preferred. Schedule: 36 hrs/wk, Fri–Sun 7a–7p.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program approved for licensure.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Must be licensed as an RN in the state of practice; WI license within 30 days of residency.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Certification in area of specialty is preferred but may be required to float.

Responsibilities

• Float across med/surg departments and cover weekend shifts 7a–7p.
• Provide nursing care to patients with a wide range of conditions.
• Adhere to HSHS core values and policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.

$36.50 - $55.50
A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

This is a weekend only program position that will work every weekend 7a-7p on our med/surg float team.

HSHS St Vincent’s Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our float pool. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge in our patient care areas of greatest need covering a variety of departments and wide range of conditions.

Position Specifics:

• Department: Regional Float Pool
• Core Function: Nursing
• Schedule: Full-time: 36 hrs/wk, Days Weekend ONLY Fri- Sun 7a-7p
• Facilities: St. Vincent, St. Mary's, St. Clare, and St. Nicholas Hospitals
• Location: Green Bay, Sheboygan, and Oconto Falls, WI

Education Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

• 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice is required.
• Wisconsin: RNs may begin employment with a valid multi-state RN license; a WI RN license will be required within 30 days of establishing permanent residency.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Certification in area of specialty is preferred but, in some cases, may be required to float.
