Job summary

HSHS St. Vincent Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our regional float pool, covering a variety of departments to meet patient care needs across our campuses in Green Bay, WI.

Ideal candidates have an RN license in the state of practice, BLS, and at least 2 years of nursing experience. This weekend-only program runs Fri–Sun 7am–7pm on the med/surg float team, with opportunities across multiple hospitals.

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
  • 2 years RN experience preferred.
  • Licensed RN in state of practice is required; WI license within 30 days of residency.

Responsibilities

  • Float pool coverage across departments and wide range of conditions.
  • Weekend program: Fri–Sun 7am–7pm on med/surg float team.
  • Provide patient-centered nursing care and apply clinical knowledge to patient care areas with greatest need.

Pay Range: $36.50 - $55.50 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education. This is a weekend only program position that will work every weekend 7a-7p on our med/surg float team. HSHS St Vincent’s Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our float pool. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge in our patient care areas of greatest need covering a variety of departments and wide range of conditions.

Position Specifics:
  • Department: Regional Float Pool
  • Core Function: Nursing
  • Schedule: Full-time: 36 hrs/wk, Days Weekend ONLY Fri- Sun 7a-7p
  • Facilities: St. Vincent, St. Mary's, St. Clare, and St. Nicholas Hospitals
  • Location: Green Bay, Sheboygan, and Oconto Falls, WI

Education Qualifications Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required. Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.

Experience Qualifications 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice is required. Wisconsin: RNs may begin employment with a valid multi-state RN license; a WI RN license will be required within 30 days of establishing permanent residency. Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Certification in area of specialty is preferred but, in some cases, may be required to float.
