Job summary

FutureCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to support our residents with compassionate, hands-on care on site. You will participate in assessment, care planning, and execution of nursing interventions, while ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines. Weekend differential applies, reflecting our commitment to 24/7 resident support.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience preferred
• Current CPR license required

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivery of resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Review resident medical records to ensure nursing practice complies with state and federal guidelines
• Review referrals for consultation, treatment or resolution of problems as documented
• Evaluate and monitor resident responses to daily nursing care to ensure care plans are met
• Carry out physician’s orders, nursing interventions and procedures as needed
• Pursue professional growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain competency
• Set and implement goals and policies in line with FutureCare’s philosophy

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred
• Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or long-term health care facility a plus
• Must possess a current CPR license
