Job summary

Care Initiatives is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate nursing care within our skilled nursing communities across Iowa. Weekend package Friday-Sunday 6AM-2PM is offered, with competitive wages and premium pay.

You will administer medications, monitor residents, and collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, and providers to ensure safety and high-quality care while upholding regulatory standards. Active Iowa RN license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations and laws
• Strong empathy and patient-centered care

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
• Support daily clinical operations on the unit, ensuring quality care and resident safety.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
• Collaborate with CNA, LPN, provider, and other interdisciplinary team members to promote teamwork and high-quality care.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs.
• Document care accurately to meet clinical, regulatory, and facility standards.
• Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols at all times.
