SJS HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL seeks a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care on a weekend-based full-time schedule. You will deliver emotional, psychological, and spiritual support, coordinate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, educate patients and families, and supervise care activities.

Pay Range: $34.00 - $51.00 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education. Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families. Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families, and supervising assigned team members. Promotes patient's independence by establishing patient care goals, teaching patient, friends, and family to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills, and answering questions. Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards, making or recommending necessary adjustments, and following nursing philosophies and standards of care set by state board of nursing, state nurse practice act, and other governing agency regulations.

Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
Experience in healthcare is preferred.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required. Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules. Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
