Responsibilities

Brooke Glen Behavioral Hospital is hiring RNs for the Baylor position (7a-11p) on Saturday and Sunday. The position offers an excellent benefits package, competitive pay rates, and shift differentials. There are opportunities for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested. Located in Fort Washington, PA, in Montgomery County, within a short drive to Philadelphia and the Lehigh Valley area.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Prescribes, delegates, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members, in accordance with the nursing process and standards of care and practice.
  • The Registered Nurse also has supervisory responsibilities for Mental Health Technicians.
  • Employ communication, interviewing techniques, and problem-solving skills, including crisis intervention, during psychotherapeutic interventions.
  • Accurately administer medication to patients.
  • Assist in prioritizing and formulating a plan of care based on assessment and policy.
  • Provide education to patients and significant others based on their needs, including communication, interpersonal, social skills, and basic principles of physical health.
  • Complete comprehensive nursing assessments and patient interviews as per policy.
