Registered Nurse RN Week Nights Step Down

Description: $10K Sign-On Bonus with at least one year of RN experience.

Employment Type: Full-time

Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift

Position Overview: The Registered Nurse – Intermediate Care Unit RN works collaboratively at St. Mary’s Health Care System to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team, providing evidence-based and individualized care. The RN facilitates all aspects of the patient visit experience, focusing on treating the whole person—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Responsibilities:

  • Care for patients with acute pulmonary, medical, surgical, and cardiac conditions in a 28-bed IMCU, a TogetherTeam unit partnered with virtual nurses.
  • Assess patients, develop, evaluate, and modify care plans; interpret and perform complex patient-care procedures.
  • Work as part of the Care Team and Support Team to achieve patient outcomes as per the care pathway.
  • Provide care using the nursing process, environment/technology, and collaboration with healthcare team members, adhering to established standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in Georgia.
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing.
  • Successful completion of a refresher course within the past 6 months if no recent practice.
  • Prior experience preferred; new graduates considered.
