Virtual Care RN Position Summary

The Virtual Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating a plan of patient care utilizing ANA Standards and the Nursing Process. The Virtual RN is a member of the Nursing Care Team and is responsible for collaboration, communication and facilitation of optimal provision of care through a computerized and/or digital platform supporting daily management of care. The RN acts as a patient advocate, provides support, information and direct care, and educates patients and families on significant self-care issues. The inventory, distribution/delivery of medications may be required.

Virtual Care RN Position Requirements

• Licensed and currently registered to practice as a Registered Nurse. Must hold a license in the state of permanent residency.
• Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Three (3) years of acute care experience required.
• Epic Clinical Documentation experience required.

Virtual Care RN Work Schedule

• May be assigned to day, evening, or night shifts or a combination per departmental policy.
• Scheduled off at least three holidays per year.
• Required to work weekends per unit need.
• Expected to work overtime on occasion.

Virtual Care RN Benefits

• At TidalHealth, full-time employees working at least 72 hours per pay period, part-time employees working at least 36 hours per pay period, and part-time employees working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.

Salary range: $33.00 - $52.80, commensurate with experience.
