Job summary

The Registered Nurse performs nursing functions and supervises other RNs, LPNs, and other assistive personnel in the performance of nursing care according to the state nurse practice act. The RN assesses patient needs, plans and implements patient care, and evaluates the effectiveness of care provided.

Licenses & Certifications include Georgia RN License or Multistate License and CPR; ACLS/NRP/PALS/SCIPP are required within specified timeframes to ensure competency across ED, ICU, nurseries, and

Qualifications

• Active Georgia Registered Nurse license or multistate license is required.
• CPR Healthcare Provider certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire into ED, ICU, Surgery, PACU, L&D, SSU if GI call is taken, or Cath Lab.
• NRP within one year of hire into Nursery and L&D
• PALS within one year of hire in PACU
• SCIPP required within 90 days of hire into Willowbrooke.
