Work location: Texas Health Plano, 6200 West Parker Road, Plano, TX 75093

Work hours: Full/Time Days (10A-10P); 3/12 hours shifts per week; weekend and holiday requirements

Vascular Access Department Highlights

Working alongside a dedicated team of nurses applying specialized nursing education and critical vascular access competencies to support patient’s plan of care

  • Positively impacting patient outcomes through skills and knowledge concerning Central Line Associated Blood Stream Infection (CLABSI) prevention

Here’s What You Need

  • Nursing Diploma in Nursing required or
  • Associate’s degree in nursing required or
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
  • 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting required
  • Vascular Access experience highly preferred
  • Vascular Access device insertion including ultrasound guided PIV (UGPIV), Midlines, (ML), and Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICCS) strongly preferred
  • RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required
  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly upon hire required and
  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
