Inova Schar Cancer Institute is seeking an Infusion Center Registered Nurse to join the Fair Oaks/Loudoun locations as a full-time day shift unit supervisor. The role leads clinical operations on oncology units and supports a patient-centered care approach, with a focus on quality and best practices.

Job Description

Inova Schar Cancer Institute is looking for a dedicated Infusion Center Registered Nurse to join the team at their Fair Oaks and Loudoun locations. This role will be full-time day shift from Monday - Friday. This nurse will work five 8-hour shifts.

The Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor serves as a front line leader who is accountable for delivering highly reliable results related to quality and best practices to improve the clinical operations of the unit. Embraces, uses and understands the research behind nursing practice and quality tools. Supports unit based shared governance and decentralized decision making structures and processes. Acts as a role model who leads by example in delivering "Service Always" and in making patient experience a priority on units of responsibility. Minimum Qualifications:

• Certification - Basic Life Support; Completion of a revised Charge Nurse workshop within 3 months of hire
• Licensure - Licensed Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Experience - 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Education - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or Associate's Degree RN within 1 year of completing their BSN)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous oncology experience
