Job summary

Inova Health System in Alexandria, Virginia, is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor for the Cardiac Vascular Neuro ICU. This position, which operates from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, will focus on providing world-class care and improving clinical operations within a 16-bed unit.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of RN experience, hold a BSN or be near completion of it, and be licensed in Virginia. The role includes leadership responsibilities and excellent benefits such as tuition assistance and mental health support.

Qualifications

Job Description

Inova Alexandria Hospital is seeking a full-time RN Unit Supervisor for the Cardiac Vascular Neuro ICU. This is a 16-bed unit focusing on Vascular and Neuro patient population. Night shift position - 7:00pm-7:30am. Sign on Bonus and Relocation Bonus for eligible RNs.

Minimum qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of one year of Registered Nurse clinical experience.


• Education: BSN or Associate Degree RNs that are within one year of obtaining their BSN.


• Certifications: BLS required. ACLS within 90 days.


• Licensure: Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse.


• Training: Completion of RN Unit Supervisor and Charge Nurse Training within 3 months.

Preferred qualifications

• 2 years of ICU RN experience


• Charge nurse or Supervisory experience
