Inova Alexandria Hospital is hiring a Full-Time Nursing Unit Supervisor to join their Admissions and Recovery team within the Schar Heart and Vascular Unit.

Open to candidates with relevant nursing experience: PCU, Cardiac units, procedural and surgical units. Strongly prefer candidates with leadership, supervisory or charge experience. Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts Monday-Friday to cover 7am-5.30 pm with occasional rotation to cover late procedures.

IR Unit Supervisor Job Requirements:

• One year of nursing experience is required.


• Degree from an accredited school of nursing, BSN, or ADN within one year of BSN completion


• RN License to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia


• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification is required from AHA.


• Specialty certification (as required by unit) within one year from date of hire.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
