Job summary

Dartmouth Health Cheshire Medical Center in Keene, NH is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the nursing team. You will apply the nursing process to assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of patient care, under supervision and in collaboration with physicians and the Nursing Team Leader.

Requirements include NH RN license with at least one year of nursing experience preferred, BCLS certification, and strong assessment/communication skills.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed in New Hampshire with preferred minimum of one year of nursing experience.
• Current BCLS certification is required.
• Excellent assessment, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work calmly in fast-paced or crisis environments and participate in rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

Under general supervision of the Nursing Team Leader, Clinical Leader and/or the Department Director and under the general direction of the department physicians, perform as a member of the healthcare team to apply the nursing process when making nursing judgments and decisions specific to assessment, planning, implementation/delivery, and evaluation of patient care, and documenting relevant data and care processes.

Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of New Hampshire with a minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred. Current certification in BCLS required. Excellent assessment, communication, interpersonal, and organizational/ time management skills. Demonstrated ability to work well as a member of a team and respond calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment and during a crisis and/or emergency. Computer skills required. May be required to participate in evening, weekend and holiday coverage according to the needs of the department.
