Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering safe patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within scope of practice, guides patient and family teaching, and supervises other nursing personnel while maintaining standards in the Telemetry Unit. The RN is accountable for the care of assigned patients, communicates changes in clinical condition to physicians, and responds quickly and accurately to changes or responses to treatment.

Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Training

  1. Current and valid state RN License.
  2. Current BLS certification, maintained current.
  3. Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
  4. Current ACLS certification within 30 days of hire, maintained current.
  5. Previous acute care hospital experience preferred.
  6. Ventilator management experience preferred.
  7. Medical-Surgical Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC) or similar certification preferred.
  8. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

The current compensation rate for this role is $59.83/hour. Benefits vary based on collective bargaining agreements and employment status. The final starting salary will be determined at the time of hire, considering factors such as experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
