Job Summary:

Provide quality nursing care professionally, supporting patients and families through the nursing process, with coaching from team members. Adhere to the Nurse Practice Act of Maryland, institutional policies, and the standards of the American Nurses Association.

Essential Functions:

1. Collect and communicate patient health data to the healthcare team.
2. Develop and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
3. Ensure medication accuracy.
4. Maintain accountability for quality outcomes, including core measures and indicators.
5. Plan, delegate, and coordinate nursing activities based on current research and standards.
6. Engage in professional growth activities.
7. Support peers through coaching and mentorship.
8. Provide feedback to team members.
9. Interact with patients, families, and colleagues with caring and healing principles.
10. Participate in shared decision-making and unit or system committees.
11. Maintain confidentiality and communicate professionally.
12. Meet the expectations of patients, families, physicians, and colleagues.
13. Model a positive nursing image.
14. Respond appropriately to system codes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Maryland RN licensure or eligibility through Compact agreements.
• Current AHA BLS certification; ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale certification (can be obtained during orientation).
• Over 12 months of nursing experience.
• Strong clinical skills, effective communication, and basic computer skills.
• BSN preferred.

Compensation:

• Pay Range: $40.50 - $56.99
• Additional Compensation:
• Base rate plus night differentials.
• WEO Day differential: $6.75.
• Up to $15,000 sign-on bonus (external applicants only).
• Up to $10,000 relocation bonus.
