Registered Nurse (RN), Telemetry, Part-time Nights, 9K Sign-on Bonus

This position is part-time, night shift 1900-0730.

Job Summary:

Demonstrates the ability to administer quality nursing care in a professional manner, supporting patients and families using the nursing process, with coaching and mentoring from team members. Supports system and nursing strategic plans, shared leadership, and relationship-based care principles. Practices within the Nurse Practice Act of Maryland and adheres to institutional policies, standards, and professional nursing standards.

Essential Functions:
  1. Systematically collects and communicates data regarding the health status of patients to the healthcare team.
  2. Coordinates and evaluates individualized care plans in partnership with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  3. Ensures accuracy in medication administration.
  4. Maintains accountability for positive quality outcomes, including core measures and indicators.
  5. Plans, delegates, and coordinates work activities ensuring safe and quality care using current evidence-based practices.
  6. Seeks professional growth opportunities such as certifications and degree attainment.
  7. Supports peers and staff through coaching, mentoring, and team participation.
  8. Provides constructive feedback and promotes a positive work environment.
  9. Applies caring principles in interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
  10. Participates in shared decision-making and committee activities.
  11. Communicates professionally, maintaining confidentiality and privacy.
  12. Meets the expectations of patients, families, physicians, and co-workers.
  13. Models a positive image of nursing and responds appropriately to system codes.
  14. Complies with all legal and ethical standards.
  15. Performs related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Maryland RN licensure or eligibility via Compact agreements.
  • Current AHA BLS certification; ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale certifications may be obtained during orientation.
  • Over 12 months of nursing experience.
  • Strong clinical skills, effective communication, and basic computer skills.
  • BSN preferred.
Compensation:
  • Pay Range: $40.50 - $56.99 per hour
  • Additional Compensation: night differentials, up to $15,000 sign-on bonus (external applicants), and up to $10,000 relocation bonus.
