This role is considered the minimum for all nurses with greater than 12 months of experience. The nurse provides and coordinates independent care within a clinical specialty as a fully effective member of the multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include utilizing the institution’s care models, participating in practice development, and being accountable to patients, families, team members, and the nurse manager, while adhering to Service Standards and Nursing Mission, Vision, and Values.
