Role Purpose

Provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within nursing care standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote patient and family-centered care in a healing environment. Educate patients and families on managing their illness, post-treatment home care, and medications.
• Participate in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Engage in professional development.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the interprofessional team, patients, and families. Ensure effective communication of care plans across the continuum.
• Assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural background.
