Job summary

West Boca Medical Center, part of Tenet Healthcare, is seeking a registered nurse for per diem night shifts to provide high-quality, safe nursing care using the nursing process.

You will coordinate patient care and family needs, document orders and results in the electronic health record, and follow safety standards, infection control guidelines, and the Florida Nurse Practice Act.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from an RN program, Florida RN license, and BLS/ACLS; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• RN role requires valid Florida RN license.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, safe nursing care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care and family needs; ensure timely documentation.
• Document orders/test results accurately in the electronic health record.
• Adhere to Florida Nurse Practice Act and infection control standards.

Job Summary

Per Diem, Nights

The RN provides high quality, safe, cost effective, total nursing care to all patients utilizing the nursing process. The RN assumes responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on need of the patient and family members. The RN directs care according to established standards of safety, risk management, Infection control, with the goal being to discharge the patient with an optimum level of care provided. The RN utilizes evidence-based practice in accordance with professional standards and adheres to the Florida State Nurse Practice Act. The RN reviews orders/test results and documents care delivered accurately and timely in the electronic health record.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

• Minimum:Graduate of an RN program
• Preferred:BSN

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum:1 year experience as a RN

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:

• Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida.
• American Heart Association BLS, ACLS required

West Boca Medical Center (WBMC) is part of the Palm Beach Health Network and has been serving southern Palm Beach and northern Broward counties for over 37 years. WBMC offers general medical and surgical care, orthopedics, a robotic surgery program, a state-of-the art breast imaging center, womens and childrens services and the only level III NICU in southern Palm Beach County.
