Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a seasoned Registered Nurse for a part-time position (24 hours/week) in the Weekender Program (Fri/Sat/Sun) with 8-hour shifts. The role requires 5+ years of RN experience, an active state RN license, BLS certification, and NIHSS certification to care for acute stroke patients.

You will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care following nursing process, collaborate with the medical team for virtual Neurology coverage when needed, and

Qualifications

• RN degree or diploma and active license in state of practice.
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience; not for new grads.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• NIHSS certification required.
• Experience in critical care, emergency services, or acute stroke care.

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Lead efforts to ensure a safe environment and best patient experience.
• Collaborate with the medical team to coordinate Neurology care via TeleNeurology.

Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30

We’reLooking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Candidates must have at least 5 years of RN experience, this position is not for newgrads
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Must have NIHSS certification
• Experience in critical care, emergency services, and/or care of acute stroke patients

WhatYou’llDo:

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic carein accordance withestablished standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication skills while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
• TeleNeurology RN works collaboratively with medical team to coordinate appropriate care for Neurology patients via virtual care.
